Cherry Chip Chocolate Chip Cookies

[Say that ten times fast!]

So one might say that I am on a search for the best recipes in the world... and let's be honest, they are probably right!
Today was a day where I would venture again into cake mix cookie land. Cake mix cookies can be temperamental and you kind of don't know what to expect because they can be really gooey looking... because well it's meant to be a cake. So my roommate let me try some of these cookies she made a while ago, so I asked he for the recipe and then when I got ready to make them today, there was a key ingredient that she was fuzzy on that made me weary... So here I go turning to pinterest. So I typed into the search and I scrolled through until I say the best looking ones... which were these...

So clicked on that picture, and that took me to a site where they looked like these...
so I figured mine might not look as good as the original ones I saw on pinterest but they would definitely look better then the gloopy thing that it claimed to be a cookie.

So here is the recipe-
1 Box of Cherry Chip Cake Mix
1/3 cup butter (softened)
1 tsp. of Vanilla
2 eggs
1/8 cup milk
2 cups Chocolate chips
(Add red food coloring for an extra touch!)

Preheat the oven to 350F. Mix half the cake mix in with the butter, vanilla, eggs and milk. Once that is all mixed, mix in the remaining mix and fold in the 2 cups chocolate chips. (If you want the top one, you just want to do hershey kisses and not chocolate kisses) Use a cookie dough scooper and scoop out dough and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Pop in the oven and wait for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are harder and the middle is soft. (Press kisses into the middle, they will melt a little and then harden back up later) Let stand for two minutes and then move to cookie sheet. Then half a glass of milk ready and enjoy those cookies!!!

To good to be true!

                            Surprise Cookies!
So I stumbled upon this recipe a while ago and I decided that it was about time that I made it! So they are chocolate cookies with a gooey carmel center! I thought to myself... how is this amazingness possible??? Well let me tell you! The secret is Rolos. This recipe is so flippen' simple that it might literally rock your world. Are you cool with that?

1 box of Devils Food Cake mix
1 egg
1 stick of melted butter
1 bag of Rolos

So what you do is mix the cake mix, melted butter and egg together until you get a kind of dryish dough. Unwrap a bunch of Rolos and one at a time form little dough balls around the Rolos. I am kind of a perfectionist when it comes to the shape of my cookies so I would do a scoop, flatten it out and then wrap the dough around the Rolo, then roll it in my hand to for a perfect ball. After you got your balls of soon to be oooeeyy gooooey goodness, stick them on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 350F for about 7-9 minutes. [Makes 2-3 dozen]

I would personally recommend buying the stuff to make two batches because if you have roommates and your friends have roommates the batch won't make it more then a couple hours. They are hard to resist!
